Hi, I’m Joshiala Lattimore, and THANK YOU for visiting Being Joshiala. Through my motivational lifestyle blogs it is my sincerest intention to encourage you to push through both self-imposed as well as external barriers that hinder the greatness from within to SHINE! I am a self-proclaimed non Subject Matter Expert, so Being Joshiala is not limited to shared opinions that are formed by you - my audience - and importantly, no judgments! Content shared will serve as a chronicle of past or present life experiences, style tidbits, and more as a way to get to know a bit about me, Being Joshiala. Born in Albany, GA, I was raised in Newark “Brick City” NJ prior to relocating to Charlotte, NC at the age of 17 to attend the accredited HBCU Johnson C. Smith University, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management. I am a God-fearing professional woman, wife, mother to a Pitbull, sister and friend who shares the same fears and heartaches, with the occasional early morning body ache, as everyone else from time to time. I’m also a Personal Blogger, published Freelance Writer and Copywriter whose work has been featured in the 30th issue of POSE magazine, an award-winning plus lifestyle publication for men and women. What will the (-) on your tombstone represent? Some facts are a “given”…a mother, father, son, daughter, husband or wife; things/people we leave behind, education and work history. I realized that the (-) not only represents the space in time of your life…but it represents my work(s)/contributions to society, my “mark”, and overall will be a testament to answer what my legacy will be. Welcome to the journey! Welcome to Being Joshiala!
